Heo Solji is from Seoul, South Korea. She is the eldest member of EXID.

She first debuted as a member of the ballad duo 2NB. She worked as EXID’s vocal coach, and after three of the original members left EXID, she became a member of the group.

She formed with fellow member Hani the duo Dasoni, EXID’s subgroup.

She is the first winner of MBC’s King of Mask Singer.

Solji was on hiatus from EXID’s activities because she was being treated for hyperthyroidism, from December 2016 to around the summer of 2018.

EXID’s first MV with Solji back in the group was I Love You in November 2018.
