This is a list with KPop Girl Groups that debuted in 2012.
Some of the most famous K-Pop Girlgroups that debuted in 2012 are AOA, EXID, Hello Venus, SPICA, Crayon Pop and Fiestar. EXID had their breakthrough with “Up & Down” in late 2014 and became one of the most important K-Pop Girl Groups. AOA found their signature sound with Brave Brothers songs in 2014 (Miniskirt, Short Hair and Like a Cat), with Brave Brothers also producing music for Hello Venus in late 2014. SPICA were active until 2017, they weren’t commercially successful but are held in high regard in the K-Pop world. Crayon Pop had viral success with their song Bar Bar Bar although for various reasons they couldn’t repeat this success. Fiestar started strong with a collaboration with IU, and had a lot of good releases before their disbandment.
