January 2020 Girl Group Member Brand Rankings

The January 2020 Girl Group Member Brand Rankings were released yesterday by the Korea Reputation Research Institute Data Lab (rekorea.net). The source of the rankings is here.

The Institute analysed data for 476 female idols, from December 16, 2019 to January 17, 2020. Their brand reputation index is the sum of participation index, media index, communication index and community index.

Here’s what every index is about:

Participation Index: Search Count in Portals

Media Index: Comments in Articles and News

Communication Index: Articles and Posts in Blogs and Fan Cafes

Community Index: Mentions in SNS (Social Network Systems – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.)

Here are the top 100 idols. Red Velvet‘s Joy is first, Mamamoo‘s Hwasa is second and AOA‘s Seolhyun is third.
