Lee Minhyuk was born in Seoul.

Before debuting with BtoB he was featured in a song by Zico and Kyung (later of Block B). He share his name with Block B member B-Bomb and Monsta X member Minhyuk.

Minhyuk is known for his performances in Idol Star Athletics Championships, he finishes in the first places in running and jumping sports, and also takes part in Idol Athletics’ Football (Futsal) matches.
