Jeon Somi (전소미) was born in Ontario, Canada in March 9, 2001. She is a former member of I.O.I, after finishing 1st in mnet’s Produce 101 show.

Somi was also a member of temporary groups Girls Next Door with Moonbyul (Mamamoo), Seulgi (Red Velvet), Kim Sohee (Nature), D.ana (Sonamoo), Yooa (Oh My Girl) and Sujeong (Lovelyz), and Unnies (from Sister’s Slam Dunk Season 2).
After I.O.I, Somi signed and artist contract with JYP Entertainment, but left the company and made her solo debut under YG Entertainment’s subsidiary label The Black Label, on June 13, 2019 with the single “Birthday“.

Somi will make her first solo comeback on July 22, 2020.
